Together we are family. Many of us hail from the original founding families from over 100 years ago... but our sense of unity goes beyond bloodlines. We truly and deeply care for each and every person who walks through our doors. We welcome, embrace, and encourage everyone that we can--because that's what family does.

It is our hope that when you visit us that you feel like you are coming home. We hope that you feel like you can just be yourself--to join us without the fear of judgement but instead rejoice in open and honest relationships based in God's love.

We look forward to you visiting our family--and hopefully becoming a lasting part of who we are together!

How can I join Zion?

What do we believe?

We strongly believe that Christ was born, lived, died, and rose again for ALL of creation. That means sinners and saints alike! We believe that when we come to the Lord's Table for communion, that we are all equal in God's eyes.

No matter your background, foreground or any other ground--you are welcome here! We laugh together, we pray together, and at times we cry together. We hope that you will find our congregation to be a safe place to explore your faith and grow into a disciple of Christ with us.

We look forward to walking with you in our faith lives together. You are welcome!

Anyone believes and is baptized is welcome to become a member at Zion. We believe that only one baptism is necessary, no matter what your previous faith tradition was.

It's encouraged that you speak with our pastors if you are interested in becoming a member. They can help you with any questions you might have about our own faith tradition and what exactly it means to be a Lutheran.

Adult confirmation is also available (though not necessary) if you wish to deepen your understanding of faith through the Lutheran lens.

Whether you become an official member or not, though, we would love to have you as part of our family!
